88-90 Points | International Wine Cellar , April 2012

(57% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, 13% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot):  Bright ruby-red. Spicy red cherry, delicately herb, tobacco and graphite aromas on the expressive nose.  Then fresh and juicy on the palate, with peppery red fruit and forest floor flavors nicely framed by herbal and quinine notes.  The finish is long and a bit tart, but this is a very sexy Armailhac.
