Inky ruby.  Smoky red and dark berry aromas are complicated by sexy vanillin oak, baking spices and fresh licorice.  Silky dark berry flavors show good depth and become smokier with air.  Finishes with a touch of heat and good spicy persistence; very soft tannins add gentle grip.
