90(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - June 2014

Bright straw.  Fresh aromas of lime, white peach, minty herbs and white flowers.  Shows almost tart flavors of white stone fruits and green apple, with lemon and mineral notes lingering nicely on the saliva-inducing finish.  Very strong acidity conveys an almost tart impression, but this multilayered wine has enough stuffing to come around with a little bottle age.  Very well done:  this is an outstanding, affordable dry white Bordeaux, and firmer and more focused than some past vintages of Carbonnieux.
