Bright ruby.  Intense, complex aromas of wild red berries, cherry, minerals and dried flowers, with smoked meat and rhubarb nuances emerging with aeration.  Sappy and sweet, with very good depth to its flavors of bitter cherry, rose pastille, licorice and fresh herbs.  Shows impressive energy and lift, finishing with chewy tannins and strong cut.
