(100% mourvedre):  Glass-staining ruby.  Exotic scents of dark berry preserves, incense and potpourri.  Initially taut and linear but aeration softens and expands the texture.  Vibrant bitter cherry and blackberry flavors gain sweetness on the back half and pick up a smoky nuance.  Closes with firm tannic grip and very good thrust, leaving a spicy note behind.
