Pale straw-yellow.  Lemon, tangerine and white peach aromas on the perfumed nose, plus a delicate fusel nuance.  Fresh, clean and enticing, with nicely delineated citrus and mineral flavors.  The first vintage was the '99, from a rented parcel of vines at the foot of the Brand grand cru near Turckheim.  At the time, the site gave an obviously different wine and so Josmeyer decided to bottle the wine on its own.  Only 12% alcohol, with 5 g/l residual sugar and 6.8 g/l total acidity.
