(made from a blend of 77% mourvedre, 12% syrah, 7% tannat and 4% grenache):  Glass-staining purple.  Deep, smoky aromas of cherry pit, chocolate and Indian spices.  Powerful bitter cherry and licorice flavors are joined by a late note of dark chocolate and supported by gentle acidity.  Shows serious power and tannic grip, finishing with deep dark fruit compote flavors and excellent length.  This is still a baby.
