Bright straw.  Precise aromas of fresh apple and pear, even strawberry, on the enticing nose.  Then lively and clean in the mouth, with a smooth texture and deep flavors of pear and apple compote.  Lovely entry-level pinot gris, persistent and very food-flexible.  From 90% bought grapes from all over the Haut-Rhin, with a good amount from Rouffach, Westhalten, Soultzmatt and Pfaffenheim.
