Bright golden yellow.  Very ripe aromas of mirabelle, ripe citrus fruit, anise and minerals, plus a light fusel note.  Enters the mouth big, full and dense, with spicy flavors of peach, apricot and aromatic herbs complicated by anise and crystallized ginger.  Extremely long and crystalline on the back end, finishing with captivating floral lift and a kick of spices.  I really like this wine's rare combination of refinement and power.  There will be 30% less Clos Ste. Hune than usual this year due to the difficult flowering in 2010.
