(14.4% alcohol):  Bright, medium red-ruby.  Black cherry, licorice and a minty nuance on the nose.  Dense and seamless but with a firm spine of acidity and a floral note giving a light touch to the flavors of dark berries and licorice.  Not a thick wine but boasts excellent definition.  Finishes with substantial dusty tannins and plenty of energy.  This needs time to knit.
