2011 Domaine Albert Mann Gewurztraminer Furstentum Selection de Grains Nobles
Producer: Domaine Albert Mann
Style: Sweet Wine
Grape Type: Gewurztraminer
Origin: France
Region: Alsace
93(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , September 2012
Bright yellow-gold. A violet note lifts raspberry, mango, sandalwood and bergamot tea aromas on the complex, powerful nose. Remarkably clean, fresh and lively considering the staggering richness to its creamy, almost dehydrated yellow fruit and sweet spice flavors. This wonderfully glyceral gewurztraminer stays tangy on the palate, thanks to the uncanny acid thrust to its creamy, honeyed flavors. Obviously marked more by passerillage than by noble rot, in contrast to the 2010.
