Bright straw.  Floral and sweet tropical fruit aromas soar from the glass on the captivating nose.  Very rich and tactile on entry, then brighter and fresher with flavors of celery stalk, soft citrus and white pepper.  The finish is long and clean, with soft acids and ripe apple nuances.  A much more floral-fruity style of gewurz rather than a smoky one; the oldest vines in some parcels were planted in 1933!
