89 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2012

(47% syrah, 29% mourvedre and 24% grenache):  Red berries, rose and cinnamon on the fragrant nose.  Juicy and light on its feet, offering tangy redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors that gain sweetness with air.  Finishes with good tangy cut and length, leaving a spicy note behind.  I like this wine's light touch; it comes it at 13.5% alcohol, which no doubt contributes to its impression of vivacity.
