(100% cabernet sauvignon, from a 2004 planting near Champoux Vineyard):  Bright red-ruby.  Fresh aromas of cassis and dusty spices, plus a hint of minerals.  A suave, silky midweight with captivating spice character to its fruit-driven flavors.  Energetic, nicely balanced cabernet with a long finish featuring serious but supple tannins and lingering black raspberry fruit.  This is awfully good for five-year-old vines.
