(85% grenache, 10% syrah and the rest carignan and mourvedre, all raised in foudres):  Vivid ruby-red.  Aromas of fresh red berries and Asian spices, with smoke and floral touches adding complexity.  Juicy, seamless and very fruity, offering zesty strawberry and raspberry flavors that pick up a bitter edge with air.  Closes on a silky note, with soft tannins coming in late.  I find a pinot-like delicacy to this approachable, fruit-driven wine.
