Glass-staining ruby. Intense, spice- and mineral-accented aromas of black and blue fruits, potpourri and green olive. Juicy, sharply focused black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors show great vivacity and gain sweetness on the back half. Clings with impressive tenacity and spiciness, with mounting tannins adding shape and grip. Shows the structure of the vintage but doesn't come off hard.
