2011 Domaine Leon Beyer Gewurztraminer
Producer: Domaine Leon Beyer
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Gewurztraminer
Origin: France
Region: Alsace
89 Points | International Wine Cellar , September 2012
(4.4 g/l residual sugar; 5.6 g/l total acidity): Bright pale yellow. Cinnamon and rose petal aromas are enlivened by a fresh grapefruit nuance. Soft and easygoing in the mouth, offering a supple texture and modest intensity. This cleanly made gewurztraminer finishes with decent grip and persistence. This is likely to pick up volume and complexity with a little bottle age.
