Dark red. Deep, brooding, rather minerally nose is showing less fruit today than the Red Mountain bottling. Then sweeter and suppler in the mouth, with tactile, nicely gripping flavors of red and black fruits, wild herbs and minerals. Also quite youthful but more pliant in the early going than the Red Mountain version. Finishes savory and spicy, with rather suave tannins.
