First day - tightly wound and chewy, potent but not heavy or overbearing. Second day - easing up, tannins becoming more supple, holding together well. Third day - still coming on, fruit intense but still somehow fresh, darker and more extracted than expected for zin, now tasting seamless and delicious with an almost unctuous mouthfeel. I was blown away. This is a magnificent wine and a steal at around $20/bottle.

Cracked the first bottle of my case to test a few weeks after it arrived and I am happy to say it met my expectation. I gave it a 90 and expect much more once the wine settles down from travel and I'm sure some more bottle age will only benefit it

I've had so many of Matt Cline's great wines, yet I had no idea this was out there. The last case of his Zin I ordered was quite god but this Evangelho takes the cake. If a Zin ever was good for the soul, it's this one. I had read the sales pitch and other members quotes but ever skeptical, withheld judgement for myself. Five stars for my Zin fix and a hope that redux comes around soon........
