About Domaine Dujac
The story of Domaine Dujac began with the ambition of Jacques Seysses, the son of a biscuit manufacturer. Jacques never wanted to follow in his father's footsteps, however; his sights were set on making wine.
2011 Domaine Dujac Bonnes-Mares
Producer: Domaine Dujac
Style: Red Wine
Grape Type: Pinot Noir
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Cote de Nuits
92-95 Points | International Wine Cellar , January/February 2013
Good bright red. Musky, dark, brooding aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, coffee and pepper. Suave, smooth and concentrated but youthfully closed today, showing less early sweetness than the Clos Saint-Denis. Offers hints of chocolate and cocoa as well as an herbal element that appears to be part of the vintage character here. Finishes firmly tannic and quite long.
