Opaque ruby.  Deeply pitched aromas of cherry and cassis, with licorice and Indian spice accents.  Showing pretty serious concentration for the vintage, with bitter cherry and dark berry flavors and an enlivening spiciness.  Finishes focused and long, with strong thrust and lingering spiciness.
