Bright red-ruby.  Inviting aromas of currant, tobacco, licorice and exotic flowers.  Fresh, juicy and intense, with almost grapey berry flavors lifted by a note of eucalyptus.  Less lush than the cabernet franc and firmly tannic on the back.
