Moderately saturated bright red.  Complex aromas of cranberry, mocha, leather and chocolate complemented by a hint of truffley underbrush.  Silky, supple and lush, with moderately concentrated red fruit and saline flavors nicely framed by ripe acidity.  Finishes with broad, dusty tannins, good energy and noteworthy persistence.  Gained in sweetness with air without losing its freshness.  A very successful pinot noir from Mendoza.
