Glass-staining ruby.  Heady, smoke-tinged aromas of dark fruit liqueur, cola, candied violet and peppery spices.  Shows very good depth and energy, offering sweet blueberry and cassis flavors and a suggestion of bitter chocolate.  Chewy tannins give grip to the lingering spicy finish.
