About Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue
With it's iconic rooster emblem, Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue is one of the most recognizable and revered producers of the Cote de Nuits. Much of this has to do with the estate owning nearly three-quarters of the grand cru Musigny, considered by some to be the finest Pinot Noir vineyard in the world. Founded in 1450, Comte Georges de Vogue managed to gain early stakes in some of Burgundy's most exceptional vineyards.

Bright medium red, less dark than the village offering. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, cherry, crushed stone, mace and cardamom. Tightly wound, juicy and penetrating, with superb youthful energy to the flavors of red cherry, raspberry and mineral flavors. The juicy, rising finish features terrific grip and length, leaving the salivary glands vibrating. Really wonderfully intense for a wine that's barely 12.2% alcohol in bottle (chaptalized from 12%).
