Green-tinged straw.  Fresh melon, tangerine and honeysuckle scents are deepened by notes of anise and sweet butter.  Fleshy but dry and precise, offering intense honeydew and citrus fruit flavors and a touch of toasty lees.  Closes smooth, spicy and long, with very good clarity and persistent spiciness.  This youthful chardonnay opens up considerably with aeration.
