About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

Vivid ruby. Spicy, high-pitched aromas of cherry, black raspberry and fresh flowers, with a musky note of underbrush in the background. Offers an array of fresh red fruit flavors that show very good energy and focus. A sweet licorice pastille quality gains power with air and carries through a long, spicy, gently tannic finish.
