(all Hyde Vineyard fruit; 50% new oak):  Bright yellow-gold.  Pungent, intense aromas of honeyed pear, nectarine, Meyer lemon, iodine and agave, with a strong mineral overlay.  On the palate, minerally and extremely deep, offering strikingly concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a smoky undercurrent.  Finishes with outstanding thrust, focus and length, leaving iodine and pear notes behind.
