Opaque purple.  Spice-accented aromas of dark berries, violet, licorice, cracked pepper.  Sweet and expressive on the palate, with juicy, nicely delineated blackberry, blueberry and floral pastille flavors lifted by zesty acidity.  Finishes with silky, harmonious tannins and lingering floral and spice notes.
