About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

Opaque ruby. Fragrant red and dark berries on the nose, with sexy floral and spice qualities in the background. Silky, sweet blackcurrant and cherry flavors are lifted by tangy acidity, which provides back-end cut. Clings nicely on the finish, featuring gentle tannins and persistent spiciness.
