About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

93-95 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013
Vivid gold. Seductive aromas and flavors of candied pit fruits, honey, anise and white flowers, with vanilla and mineral overtones. Broad, fleshy and juicy, offering a suave blend of richness and vivacity. A smoky note gains strength with air and carries through an impressively long, penetrating finish. The richest and most densely packed of this set of white wines from Hermitage, with the richness to handle the most strongly flavored foods.
