(raised in a combination of foudres and demi-muids):  Saturated ruby.  Pungent dark fruits on the nose, with strong Indian spice and floral accents adding nuance.  Energetic and precise, with a mineral-driven vibrancy to its blueberry and bitter cherry flavors.  Silky tannins build on the long, pliant finish, which features notes of smoky herbs and allspice.
