92-94 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2013

Bright ruby.  Aromas of crushed blackberry, licorice and espresso.  Dense, sweet and powerful, offering superb depth to its dark berry flavors.  Really excellent energy and definition here.  Finishes with substantial ripe tannins that reach the front teeth.  More obviously structured than the overwhelming majority of 2011 cabernet but with plenty of supporting fruit.  This fruit was harvested on November 3, in very chilly conditions right before rains arrived.
