About Pride Mountain Vineyards
Nestled above the Spring Mountain fog, on the Napa-Sonoma county line, Pride Mountain Vineyard sits on a former 340-acre agricultural Summit Ranch. In 1989, when Jim and Carolyn Pride purchased the spread they planned on growing grapes to sell, but soon caught the bug and built a winery.

(from vines in Carneros; 40% of this went through malolactic fermentation): Bright golden yellow. Peach, lemon and musky fresh herbs on the nose, plus a whiff of witch hazel; reminded me of Chartreuse. Bright and fresh, with brisk pineapple, lemon and herb flavor enlivened by slightly tart acidity. Finishes with a faintly dry lemony quality and good length and lift. This is Pride's only bottling from fruit not grown on the estate.
