92 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013

(made from 55% marsanne and 45% roussanne, raised in 70% new oak):  Bright gold.  A wild, highly perfumed bouquet presents poached pear, marzipan, honey and chamomile, with vanilla and ginger notes in the background.  Fleshy and broad but lively, offering sappy orchard and pit fruit flavors and bracing mineral and lemon zest accents.  Shows excellent clarity and power on the impressively persistent finish, which echoes the honey and mineral notes.
