Light yellow-gold. Deeply pitched aromas of poached pear and lemon curd, with powerful honey and anise accents. Supple and broad, offering weighty orchard and pit fruit flavors and hints of marzipan and chamomile. Shows very impressive power and intensity on the clinging finish, which leaves notes of bitter pear skin and toasted nuts behind.
