90(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2013

(13.5% alcohol):  Bright ruby-red.  Blackberry, cassis, bitter chocolate and violet on the nose, complemented but not overwhelmed by oak scents.  Dense and sweet but a bit youthfully bound-up, with dark fruit flavors carrying a full load of oak.  Less harmonious than the M Blend today but there's more inherent sweetness here.  The slightly clenched, chewy tannins call for patience.
