About Maison Chapoutier
Maison Chapoutier, the first négociant and producer to mark their bottlings with braille, was established in 1879 by Polydor Chapoutier. The business has remained family owned since then and is now run by Michel Chapoutier. His hands off approach to winemaking has lead to a resurgence in quality at Maison Chapoutier, which now produces some of the finest wines in the Rhone region of France.

Bright purple. Powerful, spice-accented aromas of raspberry, cherry and cola, with a smoky mineral topnote. Bitter cherry and red berry flavors show an appealingly silky texture and noteworthy energy. A lively core of minerality provides lift and sharpens the wine's sexy fruit qualities. Closes with excellent clarity, thrust and persistence.
