91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - February 2013

Deep ruby.  Strongly mineral-driven aromas of blackberry, smoky dark cherry, tar and crushed rock.  Juicy, fresh and wonderfully light on its feet, with the pronounced minerality giving the wine's dark fruit flavors an element of precision and extending them on the back end.  The finish features notes of smoky licorice and bitter chocolate.  Very good already, but this will probably be even better after a couple years in the cellar.
