About Ramey Wine Cellars
With the help of his wife, David Ramey founded Ramey Wine Cellars in 1996. He has succeeded in sourcing fruit from top Napa and Sonoma vineyards, producing remarkable Chardonnays that bridge the gap between California lushness and Burgundian minerality and structure.
2010 Ramey Wine Cellars Chardonnay Sonoma Coast
Producer: Ramey Wine Cellars
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: California
Region: Sonoma
Appellation: Sonoma Coast
91 Points | International Wine Cellar , May/June 2013
Bright yellow-gold. Complex scents of poached pear, peach, iodine and toasty lees. Lush and creamy in texture, with an exotic quality to its fresh orchard and pit fruit flavors. Suave, rich and lively, finishing on a dry, refreshingly bitter lemon zest note with very good persistence.
