I think this wine is just fine. It is adequately fruity and has additional body and richness from the Semillion. It is not a huge wine, but it is food friendly and refreshing. What more could you want at this price?

Crisp. Bright. Slightly waxy. Citrus. This is exactly what it should be. And perfectly enjoyable.
Just a bit better than the 2011

A little bit more body than the 2011 - but still not medium. The depth of flavor and honey is also a bit more. The acid level is about the same. It still does well with food - we drink these with fish fixed with sauces. The Turcaud Blancs work well with these dishes.
