Inky ruby.  Sexy, oak-spiced dark berry compote and licorice pastille aromas are complemented by black pepper and mocha.  Smooth and expansive on the palate, offering sweet blackberry and boysenberry flavors and building spiciness.  Closes smoky, sweet and long, with plush tannins adding shape.  While this voluptuous shiraz has the depth to age, it's pretty delicious right now, especially if you're a fan of extroverted, fruit-driven reds.
