89(+?) Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2013

Bright, full ruby-red.  Crushed black cherry, blackberry, mocha, violet, licorice and mint on the nose.  Juicy, tight and youthfully restrained, showing a slightly medicinal aspect to the flavors of blue fruits, violet and licorice.  Finishes intense and fresh, with a firm spine of tannins.  This needs a couple years in bottle to gain in flesh and pliancy.
