(15.3% alcohol): Ruby-red. Aromas of blackberry, licorice and dark chocolate, lifted by violet and mineral notes. Dense and sweet in the mouth, showing good creamy depth and some exotic oak character to the flavors of blackberry, menthol and herbs. I began optimistic about this wine's future in bottle, but the strong menthol quality and building oakiness made me wonder where it can go.
