Clos de la Roilette bottles Gamay from 12 hectares of Fleurie's best parcels as well as a hectare in Brouilly. Since 1984, Alain Coudert has been the winemaker here, producing some of the most concentrated and weighty wines of Fleurie.

Bright violet color. Sexy aromas of black raspberry, candied flowers, anise and smoky minerals. At once fleshy, focused and lithe, offering sweet red and dark berry flavors braced by tangy acidity. Shows excellent clarity and persistence on the finish, which leaves behind notes of lavender, licorice and succulent herbs.
