Bright yellow.  Ripe orange and pear aromas are complicated by a smoky nuance and a sexy floral note.  Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the middle, offering juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors and a bracing lick of citrus rind.  Finishes with very good cling and length and building spiciness.  Quite Alsatian in style, with the depth to handle rich, full-flavored foods.
