About Dehlinger Winery
Founded in 1973 by Tom Dehlinger, a UC Davis graduate, Dehlinger Winery has a rep for quality not quantity. Production here has topped out at about 7,000 cases per vintage, a figure that has risen steadily since the initial 14 acres were planted in 1975.

(made from all old Wente clones and native yeasts; 40% new oak): Bright yellow-gold. Highly fragrant, mineral-accented bouquet evokes fresh pear, vanilla and honey, with enlivening notes of ginger and chalky minerals. Spicy orchard and pit fruit and lemon curd flavors are given lift and focus by tangy minerality and pick up a smoky nuance with air. Sappy and penetrating, finishing at length with resonating spiciness and impressive cling.
