(40% new French and American oak): Deep ruby. Smoky, spice-accented aromas of candied cherry and redcurrant, with vanilla and mocha nuances coming up with air. Velvety and open-knit, with appealing sweetness to its red fruit preserve flavors. Gentle tannins shape a smooth finish that repeats the smoky note.
