Bright gold. Pungent aromas of poached pear, honey, chamomile and smoky lees. Sappy and expansive on the palate, offering lemon curd, pear and anise flavors and a hint of beeswax. Closes on a spicy note, with firm grip and a suggestion of dried citrus fruits. I like this chardonnay's blend of richness and nerve.
