Pale orange.  High-pitched aromas of orange zest, strawberry and white flowers, plus a hint of white pepper.  Dry and precise, showing very good cut to its citrus fruit and red berry flavors.  Finishes tangy and long, with resonating spiciness and a hint of blood orange.  This year's bottling adds carignan from Contra Costa County to the usual mourvedre, which is only 60% of the blend this time.
